Hi! I saw your entry in the Milliways test drive meme, and having just finished Stranger Things this week I am VERY EXCITED to see Eleven. Also delighted to see you're new to the game; welcome!

I don't know if you've ever read Stephen King's Firestarter, but one of my characters is its protagonist (some twenty-odd years later), and I feel like she and El would have a lot to talk about. Any interest in a thread once El has entered the game?

Ohhh man, I'm such a huge Stephen King fan, and the main reason I got into ST was because my friend told me it was like ET meets Stephen King, so a thousand times yes! I'm also pretty sure El was influenced heavily by Charlie in Firestarter.

Yeah, El's backstory owes a lot to Charlie's I think. (The scene where we learn about it even invokes Stephen King in the dialogue.) I suspect adult!Charlie is likely to go very protective when she finds out what El's been through.

She totally owes Charlie. And I'd love for Charlie to be protective of El, especially since she's really untrustworthy when it comes to adults. Charlie would also be the first person she's met (that we know of) that also has abilities, so we could have a lot of fun there. :) Charlie could help her control them better and such!
